CLA Warsaw edition

University of Warsaw,
7 – 9 May 2025

This edition’s theme, “Digital Fairness Unveiled: Navigating EU Consumer Rights in the Digital Age,” delves into the evolving legal and ethical landscape governing AI, data-driven consumer services, platform accountability, and online transparency. We are especially proud to host this edition in cooperation with the Center for Socially Responsible Innovation at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, one the country’s leading academic institution.

Program

This edition explores the Digital Fairness Act (DFA), a key step in updating EU consumer protection for the digital age. As new rules approach, understanding these changes is vital. Digital spaces are increasingly shaped by data, algorithms, and commercial interests—raising concerns about transparency, fairness, and consumer autonomy. From design choices to targeted content, the DFA addresses how digital practices impact users and aims to ensure a fairer online environment.
