An AI literacy program in Italy and Spain featuring workshop events for kids in selected schools.

An educational initiative designed to provide kids with a transformative edu-tech experience. Through the “At school with AI” – Kids Leadership Academy the CEP in partnership with Codemotion wants to increase the younger generation’s awareness of the challenges and opportunities of AI, ultimately fostering digitally empowered citizens of tomorrow. This Autumn the project will take flight as a pilot program in Italy and Spain with workshop events. For Italy, the initiative is under the patronage of the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Edu – Objectives

Starting this year, the project “Kids Leadership Academy (KLA) – School with AI” will kick off in Italy and Spain, aiming to educate children about the importance and value of digital skills, with a particular focus on the conscious use of artificial intelligence. The project, which will expand to other countries starting in 2025, is targeted at selected primary and lower secondary schools. Through innovative and engaging educational activities, it intends to prepare children to face the challenges and opportunities of today’s and tomorrow’s digital world.

What we provide

The Opportunity

1. Is it easy to recognize a photo created by AI from a real one?
2. How does a computer learn?
3. How does a machine understand what I say?
4. How do you program a robot?
We answer these and many other questions in a free, practical 2-hour educational workshop to learn how to make creative and conscious use of Artificial Intelligence.

New and Engaging Educational Experience

Each activity is designed with a game element, featuring group challenges, badges to collect, and specific goals, making learning fun and engaging:
– We create our content together with Artificial Intelligence
– Coding and AI mini-puzzles to understand how robots, video games, and apps work
– We train an AI to recognize shapes, expressions, animals, and much more

A Workshop that Adapts to the Group

Each group of children will choose which challenges to tackle collectively and which aspects to delve into, creating an accessible, unique, and fun educational experience!
The tools and technologies we will use are designed to work on a wide variety of computers and devices to ensure a new and reproducible experience.
Privacy and Digital Security: Activities are conducted using secure technologies, never sharing your data with anyone for any reason.
