An AI literacy program in Italy, Spain and Belgium featuring workshop events for kids in selected schools.
An educational initiative designed to provide kids with a transformative edu-tech experience. Through the “At school with AI” – Kids Leadership Academy the CEP in partnership with Codemotion wants to increase the younger generation’s awareness of the challenges and opportunities of AI, ultimately fostering digitally empowered citizens of tomorrow. The project is currently active in Italy, Spain and Belgium with workshop events involving for the 2025/2026 edition more than 500 students.
At School with AI
Exploring the world of Artificial Intelligence in the Hands-on technology classroom
A visual journey into the heart of the second edition of “At School with AI – Kids Leadership Academy,” an educational project promoted by CEP in partnership with Codemotion. For the 2025/2026 school year, the program has focused its strategy on combating educational poverty and social marginalization, bringing the skills of the future to where they are needed most. Filmed in Palermo at the Addiopizzo headquarters during the workshop held on February 9, 2026, we explored how Artificial Intelligence can become a powerful tool for empowerment and conscious citizenship.
Edu – Objectives
Starting this year, the project “Kids Leadership Academy (KLA) – School with AI” will kick off in Italy and Spain, aiming to educate children about the importance and value of digital skills, with a particular focus on the conscious use of artificial intelligence. The project, which will expand to other countries starting in 2025, is targeted at selected primary and lower secondary schools. Through innovative and engaging educational activities, it intends to prepare children to face the challenges and opportunities of today’s and tomorrow’s digital world.

We answer these and many other questions in a free, practical 2-hour educational workshop to learn how to make creative and conscious use of Artificial Intelligence.
– We create our content together with Artificial Intelligence
– Coding and AI mini-puzzles to understand how robots, video games, and apps work
– We train an AI to recognize shapes, expressions, animals, and much more
The tools and technologies we will use are designed to work on a wide variety of computers and devices to ensure a new and reproducible experience.
Privacy and Digital Security: Activities are conducted using secure technologies, never sharing your data with anyone for any reason.
2. Updated Resources: Teachers and students will have access to high-quality educational resources, practical guides, and best practices to extend learning beyond the workshops.
3. Inclusivity: The project is designed to reach a broad and diverse audience of students, promoting inclusion and ensuring an accessible educational experience.
