Call for Expressions of Interest

The CEP Scholarship Initiative is a groundbreaking project designed to ignite academic interest in consumer rights, within the context of the green and digital transition. This initiative provides research grants to exceptional Ph.D. students eager to advance the field of consumer rights. We invite public and private universities in the European Economic Area (EEA) to express their interest in participating in this transformative project.

Project Overview

The CEP Scholarship Initiative encompasses the following essential components

Research Grants

The project will award research grants in the European Economic Area (EEA) with the primary objective of supporting Ph.D. students in their research endeavors focused on EU consumer rights. Participating universities will be entrusted with the task of selecting eligible Ph.D. students who meet the project’s criteria and awarding them the research grant.

Scholarship Funding

A total budget of EUR 60,000 has been allocated for a minimum of 2 scholarships. Each grant can have a maximum value of EUR 30,000. The grant will be disbursed to the university, which will then assign the grant to the selected Ph.D. student.

Networking Events

The project will organize networking events at least once a year, bringing together scholarship recipients, professionals, and researchers in the field of consumer rights. These events will facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship opportunities, enabling students to expand their professional network. The topics for these events will be selected collaboratively by CEP and the selected universities which will be responsible for organizing and producing these events.

Research Publications

The project will support the creation of tangible outputs to showcase the work of scholarship recipients and contribute to the field of EU consumer rights. This includes the publication of research papers, articles, and case studies, promoting knowledge dissemination and enriching academic discourse.

Join us in shaping the future of EU consumer rights research and empowering the leaders of tomorrow through the Consumer Empowerment Project (CEP) Scholarship Initiative.
